Home: What We Do

With so much pain, uncertainty and many distractions in the world, Christians know to keep their eyes on Jesus!

Calvary woodshop is a shop dedicated to making wooden crosses turned on a wood lathe using wood from local Montana harvested trees.

The crosses are hand crafted and each one is unique (no two crosses alike). We produce a variety of wood types, diameters and heights.

The crosses are for Christians who have put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ, and Jesus has become their Lord and Savior.

For centuries, the cross has been a symbol for Christianity. Jesus came into this world, born of a virgin conceived by the Holy Spirt. He lived a sinless life, fulfilled all prophetic scripture about his life from the Old Testament.  He was accepted by God the father as a sin offering for the world. Jesus was nailed to the cross, died on the cross and was buried, and then He rose on the third day ......defeating death! We, who are His church, will also be raised upon His return.

When a child of God looks at the cross, we remember the life of Christ, the nails, the forgiveness of the world for sin, His death and resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father in Heaven.

The image of the cross is a reminder, we do not worship the cross – we worship Jesus Christ our Savior who went to the cross for his believers.

John 3:14-16

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

1 Peter 1:3-5

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
